Client Responsibilities

  • Ensure all documents are complete before the notary appointment (Texas notaries cannot notarize incomplete documents).

Notary Law Compliance

  • We do not provide legal advice or interpret documents.

  • We may refuse service if a signer appears unwilling, coerced, or unable to understand the transaction.

  • We may refuse service if identification cannot be verified.

  • We follow all requirements under Texas Government Code Chapter 406.

    Fees & Payments

    • Service fees are disclosed prior to booking.

    • Travel fees, after‑hours fees, and waiting fees may apply.

    • Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed.

    • Returned checks or chargebacks may result in additional fees.

      Cancellations & No‑Shows

  • Appointments canceled with less than 2 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee.

  • If the signer is not present, lacks proper ID, or refuses to sign, the appointment is considered a no‑show, and travel fees remain due.

Terms & Conditions

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations made more than 2 hours before the appointment incur no penalty.

  • Cancellations made less than 2 hours before the appointment may incur a cancellation fee.

  • Rescheduling is allowed based on availability.

  • If the notary arrives and the signer is not present, unprepared, or lacks proper ID, the appointment is considered a no‑show, and travel fees remain due.

Payment Policy

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed. Accepted payment methods may include:

  • Cash

  • Card

  • Digital payment platforms

Returned payments or chargebacks may result in additional fees.

Travel & Mobile Service Areas

Mobile appointments are available throughout Houston and surrounding areas. Travel fees vary based on distance, time of day, and urgency. Travel fees are non‑refundable once the notary is en route.

Late Arrivals & Waiting Time

A 10‑minute grace period is provided. After 10 minutes, a waiting fee may apply. After 20 minutes, the appointment may be canceled at the notary’s discretion, and travel fees remain due.

Privacy Policy

Electronic Communications

Document Handling

  • We do not keep copies of client documents unless required by law or explicitly requested by the client.

Wedding Officiant Bookings

For officiant services:

Identification Requirements (Notary & Loan Signing)

For all notarial services, clients must present valid, unexpired, government‑issued photo identification. Acceptable forms include:

If proper ID is not available at the appointment, the booking is considered a no‑show, and travel fees remain due.
